Job summary

Compeer Financial in Bloomington, IL is seeking an enterprise network and telephony leader responsible for direction, reliability, and modernization of the organization's complex network and voice services.

You will translate target architectures into scalable patterns, drive multi-year roadmaps, mentor engineers, and partner with architecture, product, security, cloud, and service management to deliver measurable improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, cybersecurity, telecommunications, or related field.
10+ years of progressive experience in network engineering, telecommunications, or related field.
Experience defining enterprise-scale network and telephony strategy and modernization.
Expert-level experience with routing, switching, wireless, WAN, cloud connectivity, network services, telephony, and security.

Responsibilities

Lead engineering direction, reference implementations, standards, and multi-year roadmaps for enterprise network and telephony services.
Design and deliver complex network transformations, WAN modernization, cloud-connectivity programs, and resilience improvements.
Establish reusable enterprise patterns for secure connectivity, QoS, call routing, and observability.
Resolve high-impact connectivity and performance issues; drive systemic improvements across infra, cloud, security, and vendor dependencies.
Mentor engineers and influence investment, vendor, and lifecycle decisions with senior leadership.
