Job summary

NuAxis is a federal IT solutions provider seeking a Network Engineer 4 for a full-time role in the Washington, DC area. You will design, administer, secure, and improve large enterprise networks, including wired and wireless environments, with responsibility for certificate services and security leadership.

The ideal candidate has a decade of networking experience in large organizations, plus technical leadership and CCNP or CCSE certification.

Qualifications

10 years of experience administering, operating, maintaining, and securing large-scale networks.
5 years in a technical leadership or supervisory role.
5 years testing and implementing PC/LAN technologies and computer system applications.
5 years of network administration experience in a large organization.
5 years with TCP/IP protocols (IPv4/IPv6), Windows Server, and firewalls.
5 years managing certificate authority systems and supporting technologies.
5 years administering network management protocols and related tools.
5 years supporting network-based applications such as Exchange, Oracle, DNS, DNSSEC, DHCP.
5 years managing telecommunications, LANs, security practices.
5 years evaluating networks and recommending improvements.
2 years installing and maintaining public/private enterprise wireless networks.
2 years with web content filtering, firewalls, VPN technologies.
Active certification such as CCNP or CCSE.
