Job summary
Hecla Mining Co. is seeking a Network Administrator at its Coeur d'Alene corporate office to securely manage, configure, and maintain the company’s network infrastructure across locations.
The role emphasizes ITIL-aligned processes, collaboration with Cybersecurity and Systems teams, and the creation of documented standards and runbooks. The ideal candidate will administer firewalls, routing, switching, wireless, WAN/SD-WAN, VPNs, and cloud networking, while supporting OT networks at mine sites
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
- 5+ years of enterprise network administration experience.
- Experience with ITIL-aligned processes and ITSM tools.
Responsibilities
- Administer network infrastructure across all locations.
- Administer firewalls and security services.
- Manage WAN/SD-WAN connectivity and ISP circuits.
- Administer remote access and VPN services.
- Collaborate with Cybersecurity and Systems teams.
- Develop and maintain network runbooks and standards.
- Participate in after-hours maintenance and travel to mine sites.
