Zusammenfassung

Amentum seeks a network engineer to design, implement, and sustain enterprise network infrastructure for mission-critical operations in classified environments. You will work with Cisco routing/switching, Palo Alto firewalls, and TACLANE encryption, ensuring secure, scalable networking across multiple sites.

Collaborate with systems, cybersecurity, and engineering teams, support change/configuration management, and contribute to vulnerability remediation.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years of experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure and operations.
• Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise network environments.
• Experience supporting classified network environments.
• Experience configuring and managing Cisco routing and switching platforms.
• Experience administering Palo Alto firewalls and security policies.
• Experience with TACLANE encryption devices.
• Experience using ServiceNow or Jira for ticketing/workflow.
• Required certs: Security+, SecurityX (CASP+), CISSP, or equivalent IAT2 level certification.
• Required Vendor Certification: Cisco CCNA or higher.

Aufgaben

• Design, implement, maintain, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure across multiple sites.
• Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and encryption devices in classified environments.
• Troubleshoot, perform root cause analysis, and resolve incidents to maintain high availability.
• Support upgrades, technology refreshes, and modernization initiatives.
• Develop network diagrams, documentation, SOPs, and configuration baselines.
• Monitor performance, capacity, and security posture, identifying improvements.
