Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Senior Network Architect to lead enterprise network design and modernization across nationwide LAN/WAN, wireless, and external connectivity. You will drive architecture decisions, ensure security alignment, and mentor engineering teams to deliver mission-critical services.

The role requires deep hands-on expertise, CCNP certification, and 10–14 years in network engineering. Hybrid work in Northern Virginia is available with on-site needs at Springfield, VA, or nearby

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Network Engineering or related field.
• 10–14 years of network engineering/architecture experience.
• CCNP required; CCIE preferred.
• Experience with enterprise LAN/WAN, security, and external connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise network architecture across LAN/WAN/wireless and external connectivity.
• Troubleshoot high-severity incidents (S1/S2) and guide rapid restoration.
• Coordinate with agency providers and partners for secure connectivity.
• Design and optimize scalable network architectures aligned to standards.
• Maintain architecture documentation and governance artifacts.
• Collaborate across architecture, engineering, and operations teams.
