Job summary

Nightwing seeks a mission-driven Senior Network Architect to design and oversee large-scale network topologies in high-security environments. The role focuses on enterprise modernization, hybrid cloud integrations, secure transport, and evolving infrastructure per agency standards.

Responsibilities include end-to-end architecture strategy, design of on-prem and cloud networks, and alignment with security mandates, with oversight through planning, implementation, and future-state evolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
• 10+ years of experience in network design, WAN/LAN, and hybrid cloud integrations.
• Deep understanding of routing/switching protocols (BGP, OSPF) and encrypted transport mechanisms.
• Experience with enterprise-grade gear (Cisco/Juniper/Palo Alto) and SDN familiarity.
• Experience in secure agency environments preferred and ability to work with mission-specific tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end network architecture strategy across multi-domain environments.
• Design resilient, scalable network solutions integrating on-prem and cloud platforms.
• Align network infrastructure with modernization and security mandates.
• Provide technical oversight through planning and implementation.
• Shape future-state network evolution including hybrid and virtual transitions.
