Job summary

Maximus in Northern Virginia seeks a Network Services Lead to deliver end-to-end enterprise network services across on‑prem, cloud, and hybrid environments. You will provide technical leadership, coordinate with service providers, and drive governance and reporting to meet SLA targets.

This is a hybrid role requiring 8+ years in network engineering with CCNP or CCIE certifications, ability to obtain a Public Trust, and U.S. citizenship or national status.

Qualifications

• Experience leading enterprise network operations for large-scale environments.
• Proven ability to manage LAN/WAN, wireless, and external connectivity.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Experience with incident response for high severity events (S1/S2).
• Experience with network monitoring and performance management tools.
• Knowledge of configuration management and change control processes.
• Understanding of security principles and secure network design.
• Ability to produce and maintain network diagrams and docs.
• Willingness to obtain/maintain Public Trust; U.S. citizenship or national status.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise network services.
• Provide technical leadership across network operations and maintenance.
• Balance workload across the team to meet SLA targets.
• Oversee LAN/WAN, wireless, and external connectivity environments.
• Ensure change control and CM standards are followed.
• Coordinate monitoring, performance management, and incident response.
• Support high-severity incidents and rapid service restoration.
• Maintain network documentation and governance records.
• Drive continuous improvements for reliability and scalability.
