Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Principal Network Solution Architect to lead enterprise networking strategy and delivery across campus, data center, cloud, and hybrid environments.

You will translate business priorities into scalable roadmaps, guide sales and delivery teams, and mentor engineers to ensure high‑quality outcomes. The role blends hands-on architecture with executive advisory responsibilities, governance, and development of reusable design assets.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in enterprise networking, network security, architecture, consulting, or operations.
• Bachelor’s or technical degree in Network Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Industry certifications (Cisco, Juniper, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, SASE/security) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture assessments, discovery workshops, design sessions, and technical decision-making for complex customer environments.
• Design secure, resilient, scalable, and supportable solutions across routing, switching, wireless, load balancing, VXLAN/EVPN, SD-WAN, cloud connectivity, and SASE.
• Develop current-state and future-state architectures, roadmaps, standards, reference designs, and deployment strategies.
• Provide governance during deployment, migration, upgrade, troubleshooting, and optimization activities.
• Identify risks, dependencies, constraints, and tradeoffs; present practical recommendations aligned to client objectives.
• Serve as escalation point for complex design and delivery issues and guide teams toward resolution.
• Act as trusted advisor to customer executives and technology teams; translate business needs to architectural decisions.
• Lead technical workstreams and multidisciplinary teams; ensure quality, scope alignment, and outcomes.
• Create executive briefings, architecture presentations, and written recommendations for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Produce and maintain design, deployment, operational, and knowledge transfer documentation.
• "The estimated annual pay range for this position is $150,000 - $275,000 which includes a base salary and bonus."
