Job summary

Greenberg Traurig, LLP is seeking an Enterprise Messaging Manager to lead administration, security, and operation of the firm’s messaging environment across multiple offices in a hybrid work model.

You will oversee messaging infrastructure, drive technology initiatives, and provide leadership to support business needs while protecting data. Collaboration with teams and incident response will be key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 8+ years of experience managing large enterprise messaging systems in a law firm or professional services environment preferred.
• Microsoft Exchange related certifications preferred.
• Proofpoint related certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and executes enterprise messaging plans including migrations and policy changes.
• Establishes procedures and documentation for messaging platforms and security controls.
• Designs and maintains messaging systems including email, archiving, spam filtering, and access systems.
• Implements email security controls (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and threat protection.
• Manages access controls, monitoring, and configuration standards for security and reliability.
• Maintains tooling for monitoring, analytics, and capacity planning.
• Acts as messaging liaison during security incidents and coordinates system changes.
• Provides Tier 3 support for messaging technologies and incident resolution.
• Administers AD components in relation to Exchange and messaging services.
• Creates automation scripts for admin, monitoring, and reporting.
• Participates in disaster recovery and business continuity testing for messaging services.
• Sets clear expectations, trains staff, and evaluates performance with leadership input.
• Participates in on-call rotation for critical incidents and after-hours support.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
