Job summary

Compass Point, an Akima company, is seeking a Senior Computer User Support Specialist to support USSOCOM in a demanding enterprise IT environment. You will resolve complex technical issues across hardware, software, networks and applications and must hold a DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance with DoD 8570/ITIL credentials.

Responsibilities include leading major technology assignments, interfacing with end-users, and potentially supervising staff.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.
• DoW 8140-411 Basic certification.
• Bachelor's degree in STEM.
• Minimum 5 years experience with BS/BA (3 years with MS/MA).

Responsibilities

• Interfaces directly with supported end-users to provide hardware, software, network and applications problem resolution.
• Experts with industry standard desktop operating systems and office automation software suites.
• Will work rotating shift schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Serve as a technical expert across multiple project assignments and may supervise others.

Education

Bachelor's degree in STEM

DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification

DoW 8140-411 Basic certification

DoW 8140-411 Basic continuing education/recertification

Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility
