Job summary

Abnormal AI, Inc. is seeking a Professional Services Consultant to lead customer migrations from Secure Email Gateways (SEGs) to Abnormal AI.

You will apply your expertise in enterprise mail flow, email security, and cloud infrastructures to deliver secure, efficient transitions for enterprise customers across industries. You will collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Customer Success to deliver structured delivery plans, manage projects, mitigate risks, and provide clear progress updates

Qualifications

• 5-7 years in a customer-facing role managing enterprise-grade cybersecurity SaaS deployments or migrations
• Experience with enterprise mail flow integration and migration projects, including SEG decommissioning
• Strong knowledge of mail flow components: SMTP, MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and routing in cloud/on-prem environments
• Understanding of email security, threat protection, and regulatory compliance (SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR)
• Experience leveraging AI platforms (e.g., Glean, Claude) in recruitment or related processes
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace Security suites

Responsibilities

• Manage migration projects from legacy SEGs to Abnormal Security
• Deliver guidance on enterprise mail flow and secure routing across hybrid cloud and on-premise environments
• Advise on native security controls in Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace
• Provide guidance on email security policies and anti-phishing protections
• Troubleshoot mail flow issues and ensure secure delivery post-migration
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Customer Success to support deployment workflows
• Execute project plans with on-time delivery and scope control
• Identify migration risks and escalate as needed
• Provide regular status updates to stakeholders
