Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other IT discipline; engineering/math/science acceptable as substitute
• Minimum 15+ years of relevant experience
• Experience administering Oracle, MySQL, and SQL Server in an enterprise environment
• Experience on-premise, AWS EC2/RDS; familiarity with AWS S3 and Data Migration Services
• Database lifecycle management (DLM) experience
• Experience with data scrubbing, masking, compare and review
• Experience in strengthen database authentication and security
• AWS and/or Azure experience; relevant certifications a plus
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Suitability/Public Trust Background Clearance

Responsibilities

• Provide DBA services for Oracle standalone and Oracle RAC on Linux/Sun Solaris
• Install, configure, and maintain database applications with patches
• Manage database security and user permissions
• Develop and maintain database objects (tables, views, indexes)
• Monitor and optimize database performance and tuning
• Manage backups and recovery strategies
• Support stakeholders and development teams
• Maintain DLM processes per client specifications
• Advise on changes to application and database structure
• Provide sizing and capacity planning estimates
• Participate in Solution Delivery meetings
• Coordinate with other DBAs for optimization and replication
