Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development/consulting/support experience
• Proficiency in Java, C#, Python, Node.js, Ruby, or Go
• Experience with databases such as MongoDB, Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with Linux diagnostics and tuning; Windows tuning knowledge is a plus
• Familiarity with enterprise-scale software architectures, development methodologies, and deployment/operations
• Excellent analytical, diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• High motivation for a role combining deep technical and customer-management dimensions
• Confidence speaking and presenting in a collaborative customer setting
• Willingness to travel up to 15% for short customer trips

Responsibilities

• Contribute to customer implementations across the full application lifecycle: portfolio assessment, planning, design, deployment architectures, development and build, integration and release, testing, production operations, optimization, and best practices adoption
• Deliver customer classroom-based training to architect, developer, and operations roles
• Work as part of a delivery team with consulting engineers, project managers, and account teams
• Cultivate MongoDB reputation as a trusted advisor to guide customers into the future
• Partner with Product and Engineering to influence the MongoDB product roadmap
• Become a field expert in "everything MongoDB"
• Communicate complex proposals clearly to diverse audiences
• Influence product development by sharing field experience
• Ensure client success with MongoDB initiatives
• Maintain required billable utilization
• Contribute to external client communications about product roadmap
• Continuously improve oneself, products, and the team
