Job summary

Software Technology Inc. seeks a senior leader to design and deliver an enterprise data platform, balancing technical leadership with practical execution. You will guide architecture, platform engineering and security across cloud data products serving multiple agencies.

Hybrid work in the Harrisburg area is expected. You will partner with security, governance and cloud teams to implement robust IAM, encryption, and audit capabilities while advancing reusable platform services and API-first

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• 10+ years building large-scale cloud data platforms.
• 7+ years modern data architecture and platform engineering.
• Experience designing enterprise security controls for cloud data platforms, including IAM, RBAC.
• Experience building and operating cloud infrastructure as code (Terraform or equivalent).
• Hands-on DevSecOps with shift-left security.
• Collaboration with Cloud Engineering, CISO and GRC teams to integrate security.
• Data Platform & Services experience with Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Azure, containers.

Responsibilities

• Define target architecture for an enterprise data platform.
• Build MVP and mature cloud data platform over time.
• Design secure multi-tenant environments capable of serving multiple agencies with data co-mingling considerations.
• Partner with CISO teams to implement IAM, encryption and audit capabilities.
• Develop onboarding patterns for agencies adopting enterprise products and services.
• Promote API-first and product-based approaches to information sharing.
• Lead through influence across agencies and enterprise teams.
