Job summary

Intrepid, an SPA Company, is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to lead enterprise data platform initiatives for the Defense Health Agency. You will design scalable architectures across cloud, on-premises, and government-hosted environments, translating mission needs into actionable technical designs and roadmaps.

You will collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders, ensure data quality and governance, and drive modernization while promoting reusable patterns and best practices across

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required.
• Master’s degree in CS, IS, Software Eng, or related field.
• 10+ years of solutions/data/software architecture experience.
• Experience designing complex enterprise data platforms.
• Hybrid cloud/on-prem and DoD data center experience.

Responsibilities

• Define scalable architectures for a federal health data platform spanning cloud, on-premises, and government-hosted environments.
• Translate mission, business, data, security, and operational requirements into clear technical designs and implementation strategies.
• Develop current-state and target-state architectures for modernization of legacy data systems and capabilities.
• Design integration approaches for exchanging data across defense and federal systems, including APIs and pipelines.
• Produce and maintain architecture diagrams, interface definitions, design documents, and roadmaps.
• Lead technical discovery and architecture discussions with engineers, customers, and stakeholders.
• Promote reusable patterns and guidance across teams.
