Job summary

Forvis Mazars US is seeking a Compensation Senior Manager to lead enterprise compensation strategy, governance, and operations. You will partner with HR, finance, payroll, and leadership to translate business priorities into scalable pay solutions.

You will design and govern base pay, incentives, and equity programs, oversee planning, pricing, and equity reviews, and deliver executive-ready analyses and dashboards for senior leaders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive compensation experience with enterprise scope.
• Ability to advise senior executives and governance committees on complex compensation matters.
• Deep expertise in base pay, incentive pay, market pricing, job evaluation, job architecture, pay equity, salary structures, and annual planning.
• Experience in a large, multi-location US organization.
• Proven success leading cross-functional initiatives across HR, Finance, Payroll, HRIS, and business leadership.
• Advanced Excel and data-modeling skills; experience with compensation tech and HR systems.

Responsibilities

• Own and advance enterprise compensation strategy aligned with business priorities and market practices.
• Serve as senior compensation subject matter expert and trusted advisor to executives and stakeholders.
• Lead design, implementation, and optimization of base pay, incentives, recognition, and other programs.
• Direct annual compensation planning: merit increases, promotions, market adjustments, and variable awards; govern, communicate, train, and execute.
• Develop compensation frameworks, salary structures, job architecture, and career levels to support equity and progression.
• Lead market-pricing and benchmarking across employee populations and translate findings into recommendations.
• Provide strategic consultation on offers, retention, and organizational changes.
• Oversee job analysis, market pricing, and pay-equity reviews with sound governance.
