Job summary

Edward Jones is seeking an Enterprise Communications Specialist, Community Communications, to shape and execute communications strategies that advance the firm’s education and community impact initiatives. You will lead a team, collaborate across External Communications and Public Relations, and drive programs focused on financial education, entrepreneurship, and caregiving.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of external and internal communications experience in corporate communications, public relations, community affairs, or related roles.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or relevant certification preferred.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills for clear, compelling content across formats.
• Strong project management skills with ability to delegate and manage in a matrixed environment.
• Proven ability to deliver results and communicate across teams.
• Ability to establish and optimize workflows, processes, and budgets.
• Strong relationship-building skills to collaborate, influence, and drive alignment across teams.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams) for high-quality content development and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support execution of communications strategies for key programs and campaigns.
• Engage external stakeholders including media, partners, and community leaders.
• Engage internal stakeholders across the firm to amplify program impact.
• Oversee events and logistics to raise awareness and firm influence.
• Lead communications strategy and tactical implementation for local and national programs.
• Develop KPIs and benchmarks to showcase program value and milestones.
