Qualifications

• 7 years of external and internal communications experience in corporate communications, public relations, community affairs, or related roles.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or relevant certification preferred.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills for clear, compelling, audience-appropriate content across formats.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support execution of communications strategies in support of key programs and campaigns across the firm’s Financial Education pillar, and in support of Edward Jones’ 2030 strategy.
• External Stakeholder Engagement — Cultivate relationships with key strategic partners, local and national media, influencers, non-profits, and community leaders.
• Internal Stakeholder Engagement — Collaborate across internal peers and leaders to amplify progress and value of programs.
• Events and convenings — Oversee development and logistics of targeted events to raise awareness and firm influence.
• Project Management — Lead strategy and implementation for local and national programs within deadlines and budgets.
• KPIs and Benchmarking — Develop KPIs and benchmarks to measure program impact over time.
