Job summary

Jackson Lewis P.C. is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join the Project Management Office and drive enterprise analysis across a portfolio of initiatives, including technology implementations and process improvements.

You will partner with senior leaders, translate complex problems into structured analyses, and support governance, requirements, testing, and delivery throughout the project lifecycle. A background in professional services or law firms is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, technology, operations, finance, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
7+ years of experience in business analysis, consulting, project delivery, process improvement, or a related discipline.
Experience supporting complex, cross-functional, enterprise-level projects or programs.
Strong experience gathering, documenting, analyzing, and managing business requirements.
Experience with process mapping, workflow analysis, and business process improvement.
Experience working across both business and technology teams and serving as a liaison between the two.
Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and facilitation skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively.
Experience working with senior stakeholders and facilitating and driving discussions that lead to decisions and outcomes.

Responsibilities

Lead enterprise business analysis activities, partnering with stakeholders to define objectives, pain points, requirements, and desired outcomes.
Facilitate interviews, workshops, process reviews, and stakeholder meetings to elicit, analyze, and validate requirements.
Develop and maintain clear project artifacts, including business and functional requirements, user stories, process flows, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
Analyze current- and future-state processes to identify opportunities for optimization, standardization, automation, and improved efficiency.
Support cross-functional initiatives across enterprise functions such as operations, finance, HR, technology, information management, knowledge management, marketing, facilities, and risk.
Partner with project and program managers to define scope, deliverables, milestones, success criteria, dependencies, risks, and constraints.
Translate complex business problems into structured analyses, recommendations, and decision support materials.
Participate in solution evaluation, testing, user acceptance testing, issue tracking, and validation of business outcomes.
Analyze processes, workflows, data, and operational metrics to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across business functions and organizational levels.
Facilitate discussions, resolve competing priorities, and drive alignment toward decisions.
Communicate complex information clearly through presentations, status updates, analysis, recommendations, and decision materials for technical and non-technical audiences.
Serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology or delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Promote consistent business analysis practices, standards, templates, and methodologies across enterprise projects.
Leverage Generative AI and emerging technologies to improve research, requirements analysis, documentation, synthesis, and project deliverables.
Identify and share opportunities to improve process consistency, scalability, automation, user experience, and organizational knowledge.
