Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise business analysis activities, defining objectives, pain points, requirements, and outcomes.
• Facilitate interviews, workshops, process reviews, and stakeholder meetings to elicit and validate requirements.
• Develop and maintain artifacts: business and functional requirements, user stories, process flows, use cases, acceptance criteria.
• Analyze current and future-state processes to identify opportunities for optimization, standardization, automation, and efficiency.
• Support cross-functional initiatives across operations, finance, HR, technology, information management, and more.
• Define scope, deliverables, milestones, success criteria, dependencies, risks, and constraints with project managers.
• Translate complex business problems into structured analyses and recommendations.
• Participate in solution evaluation, testing, UAT, issue tracking, and validation of outcomes.
• Analyze processes, workflows, data, and metrics to identify trends and improvements.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and communicate complex information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bridge between business stakeholders and technology or delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Promote consistent BA practices, standards, and templates across projects.
• Leverage Generative AI and emerging technologies to improve research, requirements, documentation, synthesis, and deliverables.
• Identify opportunities to improve process consistency, scalability, automation, and knowledge sharing.

Senior Business Analyst

The Jackson Lewis Project Management Office (PMO) partners with firm leadership to enable successful execution of the firm's strategic priorities through disciplined portfolio, program, project & change management, and business analysis. The PMO fosters enterprise alignment by establishing consistent governance, standard methodologies, and a culture of collaboration, accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will work across a diverse portfolio of enterprise initiatives, which may include technology implementations, business process transformation, operational improvements, data and reporting initiatives, organizational change, and firm-wide strategic projects and programs.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a professional services environment and partnering with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.

Essential Functions

Enterprise Business Analysis

• Lead enterprise business analysis activities, partnering with stakeholders to define objectives, pain points, requirements, and desired outcomes.
• Facilitate interviews, workshops, process reviews, and stakeholder meetings to elicit, analyze, and validate requirements.
• Develop and maintain clear project artifacts, including business and functional requirements, user stories, process flows, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze current- and future-state processes to identify opportunities for optimization, standardization, automation, and improved efficiency.

Enterprise Project & Program Support

• Support cross-functional initiatives across enterprise functions such as operations, finance, HR, technology, information management, knowledge management, marketing, facilities, and risk.
• Partner with project and program managers to define scope, deliverables, milestones, success criteria, dependencies, risks, and constraints.
• Translate complex business problems into structured analyses, recommendations, and decision support materials.
• Participate in solution evaluation, testing, user acceptance testing, issue tracking, and validation of business outcomes.
• Analyze processes, workflows, data, and operational metrics to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.

Communication & Collaboration

• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across business functions and organizational levels.
• Facilitate discussions, resolve competing priorities, and drive alignment toward decisions.
• Communicate complex information clearly through presentations, status updates, analysis, recommendations, and decision materials for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology or delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Continuous Improvement

• Promote consistent business analysis practices, standards, templates, and methodologies across enterprise projects.
• Leverage Generative AI and emerging technologies to improve research, requirements analysis, documentation, synthesis, and project deliverables.
