Job summary

Florida Blue is seeking a senior events leader to drive the concepting, creative ideation and end-to-end execution of high-visibility experiences including board meetings, executive retreats and go-to-market events. You will partner with Brand & Creative and cross-functional teams to ensure experiences reflecting the brand narrative and policy compliance.

The role requires 10+ years in events, ability to travel up to 50% annually, and willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related equivalent experience.
• 10+ years related work experience and advanced communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience in executive-level event management, budgeting, and vendor relations.
• Knowledge of risk management and compliance related to events.
• Ability to travel up to 50% annually and work evenings/weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end production of executive-level events with detailed attention to logistics and creative elements.
• Advise senior leadership on event strategy and experience design to meet organizational goals.
• Measure and report on program effectiveness and ROI of events.
• Improve processes and standards for event design and delivery.
• Manage vendor selection, contracts and performance to meet budget and brand standards.
• Oversee operating budgets and cost centers for events.
