Job summary

Myriad360 seeks a seasoned Enterprise Architect focused on virtualization technologies to lead architecture, implementation, and optimization of enterprise virtualization and hyperconverged infrastructures. You will engage executive stakeholders as a trusted advisor and mentor engineering teams across Managed Services.

Based in the United States, preferred near major hubs (Chicago, Columbus, Cleveland, Boston, Nashville) with up to 40% travel.

Qualifications

• 10+ years designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise virtualization platforms.
• Hands-on with VMware vSphere, VMware Horizon, Nutanix, Dell PowerFlex, VxRail.
• Strong virtualization lifecycle management—upgrades, patching, maintenance, operational support.
• Experience in Managed Services or large enterprise IT environments.
• Knowledge of hybrid cloud architectures (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
• Experience with performance tuning, capacity planning, and DR planning.
• Excellent communication for technical and executive audiences.
• Ability to mentor engineers and lead across multiple customer environments.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement enterprise virtualization solutions across customer environments.
• Lead platform upgrade, migration, and lifecycle management strategies.
• Provide technical leadership during pre- and post-sales engagements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align virtualization with business objectives.
• Create architecture docs, runbooks, and deployment guides.
• Mentor engineers and drive best practices across Managed Services.
• Support hybrid/multi-cloud integrations and disaster recovery validation.
