Job summary

enGen is seeking an experienced Architect to design, develop, and optimize architecture strategy aligning business capabilities with technology solutions. You will ensure system integrity by balancing functional and quality requirements while guiding stakeholders through trade-offs.

The role requires 3 years in IT, a Bachelor’s degree, and US citizenship. You will engage across departments, lead architecture initiatives, and mentor teams in best practices and emerging technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or closely related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic consultation to business customers and research enabling technologies.
• Designs large or complex systems and selects appropriate design standards and tools.
• Identify and communicate functional and non-functional requirements for complex systems.
• Resolve architecture and business problems and drive improvements.
• Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Manage expectations of customers, partners and management.
• Participate in customer walkthroughs and design reviews; support problem resolution.
• Collaborate with departments to interpret complex requirements and drive architecture decisions.
• Maintain knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Provide leadership in architecture to peers, developers and business users, including coaching and occasional training.
• Other duties as assigned.
