The role focuses on vendor risk assessments, regulatory compliance for Nuclear IT programs, API gateway migrations, data pipelines, and evaluating hosting options for open-source LLMs and on-prem or cloud deployments, with emphasis on security and scalability.

Qualifications

• Experience as senior architect or equivalent with enterprise apps.
• Strong knowledge of security and regulatory standards.
• Ability to lead architecture reviews and coordinate with vendors.
• Experience with cloud/on-prem deployment options.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture design, guidance and version-support for enterprise applications.
• Lead architecture reviews and align with enterprise standards.
• Lead vendor risk assessment and architecture review for replacements.
• Drive governance and regulatory compliance for Nuclear Platform strategy.
• Maintain regulatory documentation for new platforms.
• Standardize security onboarding for contractors and non-US personnel.
• Lead API gateway migrations and data pipeline architecture.
• Evaluate hosting options for emerging platforms against security requirements.
• Serve as architecture authority for IT reviews and modernization.
• Lead architecture review sessions with teams on security, scalability, integration, compliance.
• Collaborate with vendors on evaluations and oversight.
