Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years in software development, with 3+ years in architectural design/leadership.
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Selenium).
• Experience participating in peer reviews for native iOS and Android apps.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools.
• Strong communication and ability to build consensus across teams.
• Solid understanding of back-end technologies (Node.js, TypeScript).
• Advanced knowledge of distributed systems and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React/Angular/Vue).
• Proficiency in major stacks (C#, Java, .NET) and databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end, scalable, and secure systems (microservices, event-driven, API-first).
• Define architectural principles, guardrails, and roadmaps; evaluate build vs. buy decisions.
• Oversee architecture throughout the software lifecycle; conduct code reviews and validate solutions.
• Provide technical mentorship and coordinate multi-team execution to raise engineering standards.
• Communicate complex trade-offs to non-technical business leaders.
• Define legacy migration strategies and modernization plans; integrate modern engineering practices.
