Job summary

Kforce Inc. is hiring a senior data architect/engineer to lead the design, development, and governance of enterprise data platforms. You will partner with business and technology teams to ensure scalable, secure data solutions that enable accurate reporting and advanced analytics.

You will mentor engineers, establish standards, and drive a long-term data and AI roadmap while delivering on cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or related roles.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale data platforms in production.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms and distributed processing.
• Experience implementing master data management and customer data strategies.
• Strong SQL, data modeling, ETL/ELT, and data warehousing expertise.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled development practices and modern software standards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead technical teams and drive project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and optimization of enterprise data platforms and analytics environments.
• Build and maintain scalable data solutions supporting reporting, forecasting, and insights.
• Define data standards, governance, security controls, and access management practices.
• Partner with business and tech teams to establish data requirements and quality expectations.
• Develop and oversee master data strategies across key domains.
• Establish data quality, lineage, monitoring, and observability frameworks.
• Support privacy, compliance, and data protection initiatives with governance.
• Drive AI and advanced analytics by enabling trusted data foundations.
• Establish engineering best practices, development standards, and review processes.
• Mentor technical team members and provide architectural guidance.
