Job summary

Constellation seeks a Senior Manager IT, Enterprise Architecture - Commercial to lead architecture strategy and governance for its Commercial business. You will partner with business leaders and IT to align investments with priorities and standards, delivering secure, scalable technology outcomes.

You will guide modernization across customer platforms, trading and risk capabilities, data analytics, and digital products, shaping roadmaps and enforcing architectural principles across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (e.g., CS, engineering)
• 10+ years in IT architecture/tech-heavy roles focusing on platform design
• 3+ years of leadership or cross-functional project leadership
• Strong analytical skills and adaptability
• Deep expertise in scalable, reliable enterprise IT platforms
• Strong understanding of architectural patterns (microservices, serverless, event-driven, API-first)

Responsibilities

• Translate business strategies into actionable architecture roadmaps for retail energy, wholesale trading, and related operations
• Provide architecture leadership for modernization initiatives (customer platforms, trading/risk, data analytics)
• Define and govern architectural principles, standards, and best practices
• Develop a long-term platform architecture roadmap aligned with business goals and trends
• Lead design and implementation of scalable, secure platform solutions
• Drive adoption of modern architectural patterns and cloud-native technologies
• Conduct architectural reviews and ensure adherence to standards across teams
• Evaluate new technologies to enhance platform capabilities
• Identify and mitigate architectural risks and debt
• Collaborate with product, engineering, operations, and cybersecurity teams
• Provide hands-on architectural guidance for complex challenges
• Oversee implementation of architectural designs to meet standards
• Stay informed on emerging tech and industry trends
• Champion innovation in architectural approaches
