Job summary

DMA, an employee-owned company, seeks a Lead Engineer, Enterprise Architecture to shape our future-state technology strategy. You will lead a small architecture team, partner with business leaders, IT, security, data, and vendors, translating needs into practical options while guiding governance and standards.

In this hybrid role, you’ll split time between our Fort Wayne, IN and Indianapolis, IN offices, contributing to AI-enabled initiatives and an enterprise architecture roadmap aligned with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in architecture and related fields.
• Ability to translate business needs into architecture options.
• Experience with build-versus-buy and vendor solutions.
• Experience with cloud services and security.
• Experience in AI-enabled capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Define current-state, future-state, and transition architectures.
• Lead architecture team (2–3) and act as player-coach.
• Collaborate with executives, IT, security, data, and vendors.
• Governance, standards, and risk management for architecture.
• Lead build-versus-buy evaluations and third-party assessments.
• Mentor engineers and communicate direction to stakeholders.
