Job summary

The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, NY is seeking a Senior Programmer/Analyst to design, develop, implement, and support enterprise applications critical to academic and administrative operations. You will provide technical leadership across software development, integration, database programming, and system administration.

On collaborative teams, you will guide projects through the full SDLC, support continuous improvement, and ensure secure, reliable, and high-performing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum of five years in enterprise application development or software engineering.
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle) and SQL/PLSQL.
• Experience designing, developing, and supporting APIs, ETL, and web services.
• Experience in Linux/UNIX and Windows Server environments.
• Experience SDLC and Agile practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise software applications and integrations.
• Develop scalable applications with modern languages and database tech.
• Maintain PL/SQL packages and database objects.
• Deliver secure, well-tested code following standards.
• Lead SDLC phases from requirements to deployment.
• Administer and monitor enterprise applications and infrastructure.
• Provide technical guidance and collaborate with campus stakeholders.
• Coordinate upgrades, patches, and maintenance.
• Provide advanced technical support and resolve production issues.
