Job summary
Academy Sports + Outdoors seeks an senior IT leader to direct application support for enterprise Finance and corporate systems. You will own the health, availability, and performance of critical apps and drive governance across incident, change, and release management.
You will partner with business leaders to support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, manage vendor relationships, and push automation, observability, and AI-enabled operational capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field required.
- 8+ years supporting enterprise business applications in large-scale environments.
- 5+ years leading technical teams or vendors.
- Experience with Oracle Fusion ERP/Finance and SOX controls.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership for application support teams for enterprise Finance and Corporate apps.
- Own operational health, availability, and performance of assigned applications.
- Partner with business leaders to support month-end and year-end processes.
- Oversee lifecycle of applications, integrations, and supporting tech.
- Ensure SOX ITGC compliance and audit readiness.
- Drive automation, observability, and AI-enabled capabilities over time.
- Coach and develop team members and contractors.
