Centene Corporation seeks a skilled software engineer to design, develop, and deploy complex enterprise software solutions in a healthcare-focused environment. The role collaborates with data modelers, architects, analysts, data stewards, and SMEs to build robust data processing and reporting capabilities.

You will optimize T-SQL processes, maintain the in-house letter application, and develop SSIS packages for ETL, file processing, and document conversion workflows.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science) and 4–6 years of related experience.
• Proven experience with Microsoft SQL Server development (T-SQL, stored procedures, query optimization, index creation, performance tuning).
• Proficiency in C# development and SSIS development.
• Experience with EDI is preferred in healthcare/Managed Care data contexts.

Responsabilidades

• Designs, develops, and implements complex enterprise software solutions across the enterprise.
• Collaborates with data modelers, architects, business analysts, data stewards, and SMEs to design and implement solutions.
• Create, optimize, and re-engineer SQL Server objects (stored procedures, functions, views, tables) for staging and transforming data.
• Own and enhance the in-house letter application (SQL Server, C#, Word docs, PDF conversion).
• Develop and support SSIS packages for ETL, file processing, and document conversion workflows.
• Schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot jobs using ActiveBatch.
• Perform data analysis, testing, production support, and issue resolution.
• Create technical documentation and articulate issues to stakeholders; contribute to EDW and data mart work.
