Job summary

SBA Communications Corporation seeks an Analytics Manager in Boca Raton to drive operational reporting improvements and governance. You will coordinate cross-functional reporting efforts, validate datasets, and guide a team of developers in delivering robust, compliant analytics solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in enterprise analytics, BI, or operational reporting.
• Expert SQL proficiency including complex queries and performance optimization.
• Strong business acumen to understand end-to-end workflows, controls, and data dependencies.
• Experience leading cross-functional work without direct reporting authority.
• Experience with Power BI, Databricks, SSRS or similar reporting tools.
• Familiarity with SOX compliance and internal controls in reporting environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement of operational reporting processes from discovery to retirement.
• Build relationships across business functions to identify process and reporting opportunities.
• Partner with Analytics Product Manager to clarify problems and define requirements.
• Coordinate reporting needs, data dependencies, validation, and readiness for enterprise initiatives.
• Provide direction to developers on deliverables, quality, and controls.
• Apply expert SQL to review logic, validate datasets, and troubleshoot performance.
• Oversee UAT for major reporting changes, including validation and approvals.
• Ensure SOX compliance, documentation, and release practices for reporting activities.
• Define and track outcomes for process improvements like reduced manual effort and cycle times.
• Lead modernization and rationalization of the reporting portfolio.
