HCLTech seeks a seasoned Solution Principal to lead the OpenAI Applied AI Architecture across the Americas, guiding senior technical leaders from strategy to production value for enterprise customers.

You will define operating models, prioritize key accounts with Sales, and sponsor critical engagements while coaching teams across deployment, security, governance, and product partnerships.

Qualifications

• Deep technical acumen in modern AI systems, frontier models, and enterprise deployment.
• 10+ years in customer-facing technical roles such as solutions architecture or AI deployment.
• 4+ years of people-management experience leading technical teams.
• Experience guiding enterprise organizations from discovery to production adoption.
• Excellent executive communication and presentation skills with CTO/CIO audiences.
• Ability to balance regional strategy with hands-on support for critical engagements.

Responsibilities

• Hire and coach a high-performing team of Applied AI Architects.
• Define strategy and operating model for Applied AI Architecture.
• Prioritize accounts and allocate technical resources for key engagements.
• Serve as primary technical advisor for portfolios and adoption priorities.
• Lead multi-threaded customer journeys from vision to production value.
• Coach on architectures spanning models, data, security, and governance.
• Build relationships with C-suite and senior technical leaders.
• Coordinate deployment, enablement, and product/engineering teams.
• Track portfolio health, adoption, and measurable business impact.
• Translate field patterns into actionable feedback for product and GTM teams.
• Foster responsible AI deployment and clear ownership.
