Job summary

Scaled Cognition is seeking a Solutions Engineer to lead technical conversations with the world’s largest enterprises, translating AI promises into working, reliable deployments built on Super-Reliable Intelligence.

You’ll bridge pre-sales, product, and enterprise architecture, delivering tailored demos, architecting integrations, and collaborating with Account Managers to drive measurable ROI. This is an early foundational hire in a fast-growing AI company.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in solutions engineering, solutions engineering, or customer-facing technical sales, supporting enterprise deals.
• Experience building and delivering technical demonstrations and leading technical discovery with enterprise customers.
• Ability to connect a prospect’s business problems to a technical solution and explain it to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Hands-on technical proficiency — comfortable with APIs and integrations, and with Python.
• Experience building relationships with senior stakeholders, including executives and technical leaders.
• Bachelor’s degree or above, ideally in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience with function-calling LLMs, structured instructions, or agentic frameworks.
• Bonus: CX, contact center, or BPO space experience.
• Bonus: Early technical sales hire experience at AI or enterprise software company.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical expert across the sales cycle — leading technical discovery, scoping solutions, and answering questions about architecture, security, reliability, and integration.
• Design and deliver tailored demonstrations of APT and our platform; build agents that prove out a customer’s CX scenarios using GenAPI simulation and our tools.
• Architect production-grade solutions that integrate APT into complex enterprise ecosystems through a stateless RESTful API in the customer’s VPC or public cloud.
• Partner between Account Managers and Forward Deployed Engineers to discover, qualify, and shape opportunities into deployments with ROI.
• Translate customer needs into sharp product and engineering feedback, helping Research and Product close gaps between generic models and enterprise needs.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to audiences from C-suite to hands-on engineering teams.
• Help build the solutions engineering function — demos, frameworks, and playbooks that scale with us.
