Job summary

Pure Storage, Inc. is seeking a Staff/Principal-level Applied AI advisor who blends science, consulting, and communication to drive enterprise AI initiatives on Pure's platform. You will speak with data scientists and CEOs alike, shaping AI strategy for large customers with global reach.

You will lead technical discovery, craft end-to-end deployment strategies, and develop proofs-of-value, while creating enablement content for field teams and partners across multiple industries.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a quantitative field or equivalent research/production experience.
• 8+ years building and deploying AI/ML systems in cloud or on-prem environments.
• Strong expertise in modern AI/ML and related tools, with production-level experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and advisory engagements with customers to identify high-value AI use cases.
• Advise on end-to-end AI deployment — model selection, training/fine-tuning, inference optimization, data pipelines.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to qualify AI opportunities and develop proof-of-value prototypes.
• Create AI enablement content for field teams, partners, and customers.
• Present at conferences and represent Pure in partner engagements; travel up to 30-60%.
• Operate autonomously in ambiguous environments and drive initiatives to completion.
