Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join the Chief Data and Analytics Office (CDAO).

You will contribute senior technical expertise within an agile team, delivering trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, scalable way. You will design and build AI-enabled applications, own SDKs and integrations, and champion MLOps capabilities, including data and model versioning, training pipelines, and automated evaluation.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 7+ years applied experience.
• Strong proficiency in design, development, testing, and operations for large-scale platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and troubleshoot AI-enabled applications and services.
• Develop secure production code; review and improve others' code.
• Own and support SDKs and service integrations for reliability and performance.
• Build AI-powered features including prompt design and SDK/REST integrations.
• Design end-to-end MLOps capabilities with data/model versioning and CI/CD for models.
