Job summary

Karsun Solutions is actively pursuing modernization for VA healthcare and benefits services. This role focuses on designing, integrating, and governing AI across cloud and on-prem platforms, with a strong emphasis on security and HIPAA/VA privacy compliance.

You will lead AI integration efforts, guide engineering teams, and align AI capabilities with enterprise platforms like Salesforce, Power Platform, and Pega, while ensuring scalable, reusable solutions within a Government context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/AI/Data Science or related field plus 7 years of relevant experience (10 years can substitute).
• Experience designing secure enterprise AI architectures across cloud and on-prem platforms.
• Experience leading enterprise AI integration across multiple initiatives.
• Ability to obtain VA Public Trust background.
• Willing to sign a letter of commitment for contract award.

Responsibilities

• Assess, design, and oversee secure enterprise AI architectures integrated into VA baseline.
• Apply AI architecture patterns across cloud and on-premise platforms to improve scalability, reusability, security, and governance.
• Define how AI capabilities integrate with DTC platforms (Salesforce/MuleSoft, Power Platform/Dynamics, Pega, Box, Appian).
• Lead enterprise AI integration efforts and validate architectural decisions through DTC solution architecture and security gates.
• Establish AI governance practices, including model selection, human oversight, responsible use, and protection of PII/PHI under HIPAA and VA privacy.
• Educate VA stakeholders and DTC Platform Leads on AI options, tradeoffs, and adoption.
