Job summary

Karsun Solutions, LLC is actively seeking a senior AI engineer to help modernize digital services for the VA. You will design and maintain AI capabilities across enterprise platforms, integrating with Salesforce, MuleSoft, Power Platform, Pega, Box, and Appian within agile teams.

The role emphasizes responsible AI, security, HIPAA/VA privacy compliance, and enabling automation and decision-support solutions. Eligible for US-based work with a federal program exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 7+ years of relevant AI/enterprise experience; 10 years may substitute for the degree.
• Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining AI capabilities in enterprise environments.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a VA Public Trust background investigation.
• Available on contract award and willing to sign a letter of commitment.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain AI capabilities across enterprise platforms.
• Integrate AI technologies across DTC platforms (Salesforce/MuleSoft, Power Platform/Dynamics, Pega, Box, Appian).
• Apply AI-enabled code generation, automated testing, and code quality analysis within agile teams.
• Lead enterprise AI integrations, validate performance, and provide technical guidance.
• Educate teams on best practices, secure AI implementation, and protection of PII/PHI under HIPAA/VA rules.
• Support security and ATO documentation for AI components.
