Job summary

ByteDance is seeking an architect-level contributor to lead the design, development, and adoption of enterprise AI agent capabilities across the organization. You will define architecture principles, governance standards, and roadmaps for AI agent platforms and RAG-based knowledge bases, partnering with product, engineering, data, and security teams.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years software development experience; Golang or Python preferred.
• Experience driving enterprise AI adoption across multiple business units or internal product teams.
• Experience with architect-level ownership plus product management responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of AI system tradeoffs (cost, latency, accuracy, reliability, safety, UX).
• Experience with enterprise AI agent platforms or related frameworks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define architecture and roadmap for enterprise AI agent platforms, including orchestration, tool integration, workflow automation, memory, observability, and governance.
• Lead design and adoption of AI harness platforms and RAG-based knowledge bases across the organization.
• Partner with product, engineering, data, security, and business teams to identify high-value AI use cases and drive production.
• Provide technical leadership on AI reliability, scalability, observability, cost optimization, privacy, and security.
