ATR is seeking a Senior Enterprise Account Executive based in Houston, TX to drive new enterprise business within the oil & gas, petrochemical, and industrial sectors.
This role focuses on building and closing relationships with major operators and asset-heavy industrial organizations that are modernizing how they manage operational procedures, safety workflows, and frontline execution.
The ideal candidate is a well-connected industry seller with strong relationships across refineries, petrochemical plants, and energy operators. Success in this role will depend heavily on the ability to leverage existing industry networks, navigate complex enterprise buying processes, and close strategic software deals.
ATR’s platform helps organizations digitize and operationalize critical procedures, improving operational safety, compliance, and frontline performance across high-risk industrial environments.
This role is based in Houston, Texas and will focus on customers across Texas, the Gulf Coast, and Global energy markets.
- Own the full enterprise sales cycle from initial relationship development through contract close.
- Identify and engage target accounts within oil & gas operators, petrochemical producers, and industrial manufacturers.
- Leverage existing industry relationships to create new enterprise opportunities.
- Lead discovery conversations, presentations and demos with operational leaders, safety teams, and plant leadership.
- Present ATR’s platform and value proposition to technical and executive stakeholders.
- Negotiate commercial terms and close enterprise agreements.
- Help build foundational sales toolkits (e.g. competitive battlecard, objection handling scripts)
- Develop sales collateral (pitch decks, case studies, ROI calculators) in partnership with leadership, projects/customer success, and product teams
- Typical deal sizes range from $200K to $1M+ ARR.
Industry Relationship Development
- Leverage existing professional networks and build new relationships within the energy and petrochemical ecosystem.
- Develop relationships with refinery leadership, petrochemical plant operators, process safety leaders, operational excellence teams, digital transformation leaders, and engineering leadership.
- Position ATR as a strategic solution provider for operational procedure management.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.
- Engage industry contacts and target key operators and facilities across the Gulf Coast and North America.
- Participate in industry events and conferences.
- Identify opportunities where ATR’s platform aligns with operational improvement initiatives.
Industry Engagement
- Represent ATR in the energy and petrochemical industry.
- Attend industry conferences and trade events.
- Build relationships with operators and industry leaders.
- Stay informed on trends including digital transformation, connected worker technologies, and operational safety initiatives.
Customer Alignment
- Collaborate closely with ATR implementation and customer success teams.
- Ensure customer use cases align with ATR’s core product capabilities.
- Help customers understand the strategic impact of procedure digitization.
Technology & Product Savvy
- Sufficient technical fluency to understand and guide product decisions in a complex enterprise software environment
- Experience working with engineering/product teams to align product features with customer pain points and strategic goals
Required Experience – Industry
- Strong professional network within oil & gas, petrochemical, or heavy industrial sectors.
- Experience working with refineries, chemical plants, or large industrial operators.
- Deep understanding of operational environments including upstream, midstream, downstream, or petrochemical production.
Required Experience – Enterprise Sales
- Proven track record selling enterprise software or technology solutions.
- Experience managing complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to close large enterprise deals ($200K-$1M+).
- Experience selling into operations, safety, engineering, or digital transformation teams.
Market Knowledge
- Understanding of operational challenges in industrial environments including safety and compliance, operational efficiency, asset reliability, and frontline workforce enablement.
- Familiarity with industrial software categories such as connected worker platforms, operational procedure management, asset management, and industrial digital transformation.
