Job summary

Energy Exemplar is seeking an Account Director to drive new business growth with power trading organizations. This senior role requires deep understanding of how power is traded, scheduled, settled and optimized, translating that knowledge into strategic software opportunities.

You will develop territory plans, lead opportunities from engagement to close, and collaborate with sales, pre-sales, product, and services teams to deliver energy market modeling, planning and trading solutions including

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise software sales or complex solutions.
• Proven track record of winning new business and closing high-value deals.
• Experience selling to power traders or market participants preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, target and win new customers in the power trading market.
• Build and manage a qualified pipeline with marketing and SDR support.
• Lead opportunities from discovery through close and coordinate with product/solutions teams.
• Develop proposals and commercial strategies for complex enterprise opportunities.
• Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting and CRM activity.
