Adams Clinical is seeking a Senior Enrollment Specialist to lead enrollment strategies across multiple clinical study sites. You will optimize candidate conversion, support study launches, and align site teams to achieve screening and enrollment goals.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision-making, operational excellence, and leadership of Enrollment Specialists to improve performance and candidate experience across the organization.

• Demonstrated ownership of conversion, throughput, or pipeline metrics.
• Experience using data to diagnose performance problems and influence decisions.
• Track record of collaborating with and influencing leadership stakeholders across locations.
• Experience mentoring, training, or informally leading peers.

Position Overview

The Senior Enrollment Specialist serves as a strategic leader within the Enrollment department, driving enrollment performance across multiple clinical research sites and studies. This role combines direct enrollment expertise with operational leadership, data-driven decision-making, mentorship, and process improvement.

The Senior Enrollment Specialist is responsible for identifying enrollment barriers, optimizing candidate conversion strategies, supporting study launches, and partnering with site and organizational leadership to ensure screening and enrollment goals are achieved. This position acts as a subject matter expert and escalation resource for Enrollment Specialists while helping shape enrollment best practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Enrollment Strategy & Performance Management

• Partner with Enrollment Leadership to develop and execute enrollment strategies across multiple studies and sites.
• Monitor enrollment performance, screening conversion rates, and study launch metrics.
• Analyze enrollment funnel performance and identify opportunities to improve candidate progression.
• Develop recommendations to improve scheduling, screening attendance, retention, and enrollment outcomes.
• Identify risks to enrollment targets and implement corrective action plans.
• Support forecasting of screening volume and enrollment capacity.
• Assist leadership in prioritizing studies, sites, and recruitment initiatives.

Cross-Site Leadership

• Serve as the enrollment lead for assigned therapeutic areas, studies, or site groups.
• Coordinate enrollment efforts across multiple research sites.
• Facilitate communication between enrollment teams, site operations, recruitment, and clinical research staff.
• Lead enrollment readiness planning for new studies and study launches.
• Ensure enrollment workflows are standardized and consistently executed across sites.

Operational Excellence & Process Improvement

• Evaluate enrollment workflows and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to reduce enrollment bottlenecks and improve candidate conversion.
• Develop and maintain enrollment procedures, workflows, and training materials.
• Monitor adherence to SOPs, regulatory requirements, and data quality standards.
• Partner with leadership to implement new technologies, reporting tools, and enrollment processes.

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Analyze enrollment, conversion, outreach, and screening metrics.
• Create and present performance reports and recommendations to leadership.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify trends impacting study success.
• Utilize CRM and clinical trial management systems to support decision-making.
• Present enrollment insights during leadership, operations, and cross-functional meetings.

People Leadership & Team Management

• Directly supervise and manage Enrollment Specialists, including workload allocation, performance management, coaching, and professional development.
• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and goal-setting discussions.
• Monitor individual and team enrollment metrics, providing feedback and corrective action plans as needed.
• Support hiring, onboarding, training, and retention of Enrollment team members.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the Enrollment team.

Candidate Experience & Enrollment Support

• Support high-priority enrollment activities when needed.
• Assist with challenging candidate cases and enrollment escalations.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the enrollment process.
• Maintain compliance with privacy regulations and confidentiality requirements.
