Job summary

Pentegra-Services,-Inc. is seeking an experienced Enrolled Actuary to support annual administration of single employer defined benefit pension plans. This fully remote role requires strong actuarial skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities include valuations, regulatory filings, plan design input, and ensuring compliance with IRS funding rules and PBGC requirements. EA designation and five+ years of pension experience are required.

Qualifications

• Enrolled Actuary (EA) designation required.
• Five or more years of pension experience.
• Strong Excel and Word skills, proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and time management, high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Actuarial valuations and certifications for single employer defined benefit plans.
• Regulatory filings including Form 5500 Schedule SBs and PBGC filings.
• Review and sign actuarial reports, assumptions, and results.
• Oversee benefit calculations and RMDs in line with plan provisions.
• Plan design input and new business support; assist with amendments.
• Ensure compliance with IRS funding regulations and pension laws.
• Collaborate with staff for accuracy and consistency across deliverables.
