Job summary

Jobgether seeks a Defined Benefit Enrolled Actuary to join a collaborative retirement plan consulting team serving U.S. employers. You will lead and review actuarial valuations, regulatory filings, and plan design for defined benefit and cash balance plans, supporting small-plan clients.

The role can be performed remotely or from an approved California office, with flexibility to meet client needs. A valid Enrolled Actuary designation and at least five years in pensions are required, along with

Qualifications

Enrolled Actuary designation required or candidate close to completion
Five+ years in the pension industry
Experience certifying funding valuations for small plans (<100 participants)
Strong knowledge of IRC sections and PBGC rules
Ability to use actuarial software and MS Office for analyses

Responsibilities

Oversee actuarial analysis and regulatory compliance for defined benefit, cash balance, and combined plans
Prepare and review funding valuations and Schedule SB filings
Develop plan design proposals and cost studies
Review plan documents and amendments for regulatory compliance
Perform PBGC-related filings and wind-down support
Communicate findings to consultants and clients
Stay current with pension legislation and professional standards
