Vanguard College Prep is seeking full-time educators to develop core English skills and college readiness, not just hacks. You will teach small groups, track progress, and mentor students through a multi-phase curriculum.

Requirements include a US-housed bachelor’s in humanities (masters preferred), 1+ years of English teaching or college-writing center experience, 3.5+ GPA, and proficiency with MS Office and Google Workspace. A reliable internet connection and quiet workspace are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in humanities from US Schools (English, Creative Writing, Journalism, Publishing, etc.).
• Teaching experience in English and/or experience working in a college-level Writing Center (1+ years).
• Demonstrated academic excellence (3.5+ GPA).
• Strong verbal skills and mastery of the English language.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and G-Suites.
• Access to a reliable internet connection and a workspace with minimal noise/distraction.

Responsabilidades

• Teach and inspire: Instruct small groups of students in English core skills to promote long-term understanding and top scores in college readiness exams (ACT & SAT).
• Track growth: Monitor students’ progress as they move through Vanguard’s multi-phase curriculum.
• Manage and model: Maintain student schedules, hold assignments accountable, and model professionalism with timely communication and organization.
• Innovate: Lead development and execution of evolving lesson plans and curriculum.
• Mentor: Guide middle and high school students through the college application process.
