Job summary

Supermicro, based in San Jose, California, has an immediate opening for a Sr. Engineering Technician to join our server team.

You will become a key support for enabling server technology, validating efforts, and managing materials to aid product development and customer solutions. The role emphasizes strong technical skills, cross-functional collaboration, and timely delivery to support product launches and continuous quality improvements.

Qualifications

• High school or Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years hands-on IT product/solution experience.
• Strong initiative and ability to work in a self-directed environment.
• Ability to lead extended teams and meet deadlines.
• Understanding of server/datacenter technology and related applications.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth evaluation of applications and feedback to engineering teams on optimization.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and projects.
• Coordinate operational activities from product kick-off to product launch; support timely market delivery.
• Support product quality improvements during design and manufacturing stages.
• Resolve technical issues by coordinating resources and debugging with engineering teams.
• Provide third-level technical and pre/post-sales support.
