Job summary

Super Micro Computer is seeking an Engineering Technician to join our server team in San Jose. You will help enable HPC server technology, support validation efforts, and manage materials for product development and customer solutions.

We seek someone with strong technical skills, the ability to handle multiple tasks, and a collaborative approach with cross-functional engineering teams to meet time-to-market goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required, with a minimum of 2 years of related experience preferred.
• Strong initiative and ability to work in a self-directed environment.
• Demonstrate strong organizational and planning skills.
• Demonstrate understanding of cross-functional organizations and collaboration.
• Ability to lead extended teams and meet deadlines.
• Understanding of GPU server technology and related applications.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication, and negotiation abilities.
• Excellent knowledge of server systems, PC systems, and computer architecture.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth evaluation of applications and provide feedback to engineering on product optimization.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and projects.
• Coordinate operations from product kickoff to launch and help meet time-to-market mandates.
• Support product quality improvements during design and manufacturing stages.
• Address technical issues to closure by coordinating resources with engineering teams to replicate and debug.
• Serve as third-level technical support and provide pre/post-sales support.
