Job summary

Haworth in Holland, MI is seeking a Senior Engineering Technician to create complex 2D and 3D drawings and lead manufacturing process improvements in our wood plant. The weekend shift runs Fri, Sat, Sun 6:00am–6:30pm.

You will use CAD tools, develop ECOs and BOMs, troubleshoot issues, and coach production staff on quality standards and processes. Travel up to 10% within Michigan may be required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or equivalent; relevant certification may be preferred.
• Associate's Degree in a relevant field may be preferred or required.
• 3 years experience supporting engineering/manufacturing processes via CAD, nesting, routing, or related tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
• Conduct process qualifications, experiments, and data analysis to optimize processes.
• Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, including ECOs and BOMs.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues, identify root causes, implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with suppliers to improve product quality and resolve issues.
• Utilize metrology equipment and inspection techniques to ensure quality.
• Provide technical guidance and training to production personnel.
