Haworth, Inc. is seeking a Master Machine Operator for the Wood Plant in Holland, MI, on a weekend shift with training on 1st shift when needed.

The role requires operation of production machinery, setting up processes, and collaborating with maintenance and engineering to ensure smooth line performance. The position demands the ability to flex shifts, lift up to 50 pounds, and endure overtime per business needs.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to flex between weekend and weekday shifts.
• Requires 2 years of prior manufacturing experience.
• Must have ability to obtain and maintain hilo forklift certification.
• Must be able to lift/move products up to 50 pounds.
• Overtime and weekend work may be required per business needs.

Responsibilities

• Accesses electronic production system to determine daily schedule.
• Verifies parts against tickets and monitors material flow.
• Sets up and operates machines and performs minor repairs.
• Performs change-overs and consults with maintenance/engineering as needed.
• Oversees quality and documents nonconformance issues.
• May operate a powered industrial truck. Rotates across centers as needed.
