Job summary

PlanIT Group, LLC is seeking technicians to perform depot level repairs and refurbishments of M-TADS/PNVS components. You will troubleshoot, repair and test mechanical, electrical, and subsystems at customer or field locations, using precision measurement tools and general‑purpose test equipment.

Training on safety procedures and hazardous materials handling will be provided. Ideal candidates have an associate degree or 5–8 years of related experience, solder certification (J-STD-001), and

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related discipline or 5–8 years of related experience.
• Solder certification (J-STD-001) to repair cables and harnesses (1–2 years).
• 1–2 years experience with troubleshooting and fault isolation using test equipment.
• 1–2 years experience with operation of general purpose/automated test equipment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift 35 pounds.
• Ability to work with hazardous materials.
• Ability to mix and weigh chemicals.
• Ability to properly safety wire assemblies and connectors.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Performs depot level repairs and refurbishments of M-TADS/PNVS components.
• Repairs, rework, fault isolation, troubleshooting, and acceptance testing of subsystems.
• Operates oscilloscopes, multimeters, network analyzers and waveform generators.
• Sets up and operates milling machines and drill presses to repair components.
• Uses precision measuring equipment to verify tolerances.
• Completes work per engineering drawings, schematics, and procedures.
• Documents work in automated maintenance data collection systems.
• Provides technical feedback to promote reliability improvements.
